It almost feels like yesterday when I began my tourism Journey training as a guide at Mara Intrepid Kenya back in 2001. I then took a serious step to obtain my certificate in tourism at Utalii College; after which I returned to Mara Intrepid for a short period of time.

I was soon offered the opportunity to join Sunworld Safaris as a guide. During my years with them I had the privilege and pleasure of guiding clients through most of Kenya’s 42 reserves while also gaining experience in some of Tanzania’s most iconic Nation parks and reserves. Not only was I able to archive my silver rank guide status over these years, but I also became specialized in working with top photographers and guiding photographic safaris. These amazing experiences also bred friendship among fellow tour guides and those who I have hosted.

Once again it was time to expand my wings as went out on my own as a contracted driver working for a few top high end companies that also specialized in photography.

Now, with 20 plus years of experience as a tour guide, I can honestly say that it’s more than just a job to me, it is my passion! One I will always be committed to.
